WedZat Platform Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to use the platform.
• You must complete account verification (via KYC) before uploading content or receiving payments.
• Use of the platform is limited to real wedding participants (bride/groom or authorized individuals).

2. Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You may not impersonate any other person or entity.
• Any activity from your account will be deemed to be yours.

3. User-Generated Content (Videos, Images, Audio)

By uploading content to WedZat, you confirm that:

• The content is from a real wedding event and you own or have obtained all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary to use and upload the content.
• You have obtained verifiable consent from individuals appearing in the video (family, guests, vendors).
• The content does not contain any third-party copyrighted material, including music, logos, or footage, unless you have a valid license.
• You grant WedZat a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display the content for platform operations, promotions, or analytics.

4. Content Restrictions

You may not upload or publish content that:

• Contains nudity, hate speech, harassment, threats, violence, or defamation.
• Is politically sensitive, religiously offensive, or violates community standards.
• Includes promotional, commercial, or non-wedding content.
• Misleads viewers by falsifying vendor associations or events.

Violation of these terms may lead to the removal of content, the suspension of monetization, or the termination of the account.

5. Monetization Terms

• You must meet the eligibility criteria as per our Monetization Policy (500+ monthly views, minimum completion rate).
• WedZat shares a percentage of platform revenue (up to 35%) with eligible creators.
• WedZat reserves the right to adjust the payout model, suspend payments, or withhold revenue in case of fraud, policy violations, or legal disputes.
• Earnings are subject to TDS under Indian Income Tax laws (Section 194J).

6. Vendor Tagging and Booking

• If you tag vendors in your videos, you confirm that they are genuine service providers from your wedding.
• Any lead or booking generated from your video will be tracked for monetization, but you acknowledge that WedZat is not liable for any disputes between the couple and vendor.

7. Data Privacy and Use

• We collect user and video data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023 (India).
• Your uploaded videos may be featured on WedZat's homepage, social media, or partner platforms for promotional purposes.
• You may opt out of promotional use by writing to legal@wedzat.com.

8. DMCA and Copyright Complaints

• If someone believes your video infringes their rights, they can file a DMCA takedown request.
• If a copyright strike is proven, your content may be removed and monetization paused.

9. Termination & Platform Rights

• WedZat may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable laws.
• We may modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
